10 Things We’re Thankful For

We’re thankful for so much this year it was difficult to narrow the list down to 10. Here is our list in no particular order:

First and foremost, we’re thankful for family, friends and friends who have become like family.

For living in a land where we’re free to express our thoughts and opinions without fear of retaliation. A free press, of course.

And for when we do disagree the world always seems to put differences aside to assist our fellow man (or woman) during a time of need.

For the tech titans who realize that philanthropy is global, dispelling the myth that it has to be ‘America first’.

The continual advances in technology, including artificial intelligence, robots and self-driving cars and for those bold enough to envision Hyperloop or a colony on Mars.

For the advances in clean energy and institutions such as UC Davis who are leading the way.

Cities like Sacramento which offer a place to launch our ideas – large or small.

For second or third chances to get it done right and for the investors and venture capitalists who make it all possible.

The many immigrants who have contributed to our country in unimaginable ways.

And, of course for the multiple platforms we have to share this post.
